Bright ideas needed to help power the future. Hear from experts and learn how to become more creative. Use the tips to power your ideas for the Enterprise Challenge.
Bucks Innovation Lab
Launching today the Bucks Innovation Lab is a new project designed to help students nurture and develop their bright ideas into real business opportunities. With mentoring support, there will be a showcase event later in 2012.

People Day: Careers to Leadership
The success of any enterprise is based first and foremost on the quality and motivation of its people. Today's lectures and workshops are focused on what it takes to get employed right through to what it takes to be an effective leader.
Enterprise Challenge: Mentor Workshops
During the day come and develop your Enterprise Challenge idea with the support and insight of local businesses and mentors.

Sales & Marketing Day
We might have great people, ideas and funding but if we can market and sell our products or services our business will fail. Hear the Chartered Institute of Marketing talk on the subject.
Selling Yourself: How good are you?
Whether it's a job interview, leading a team, sourcing investment or negotiating a contract you need to be able to sell yourself to achieve your goals. Today you'll be getting tips on selling yourself online, on stage, in-person and more.

Making Money: Making it Legal
Making money is one thing but managing it effectively is another. For any enterprise to be successful it will need investment. Find out where and how to get finance. Also how will your structure your business, what legal form will it take and how will you report your performance?

As it's MONEY DAY we've found some guest speakers who can help you better understand not just business finance but personal finance too!
Friday 4 November
Enterprise Challenge Final
It's time for the teams to make their presentations. There will be awards across a number of categories including best social enterprise idea, best product idea, best job creation idea, best money making idea and an overall winner.
A panel of experts will score the presentations and the awards will be made at the Enterprise Gala Evening.
Creative Talent Showcase
There will also be awards for best Something New and the best Something Special.
Enterprise Festival Gala Evening
The week culminates with a Gala Evening on Friday, featuring live performances and exhibits from our creative talent and the winners of the Enterprise Challenge will be announced. Network with our sponsors and local business and community members.
